PADI Public Safety Diver

Dive Academy Bodrum is among a small number of centers offering the PADI Public Safety Diver specialty. The course covers search and recovery, evidence preservation, limited-visibility diving, line communication, cold-water procedures and incident scene management. Designed for public-safety and emergency-response teams, it offers experienced divers a certified professionalization track.

How long does the PADI Open Water Diver course take?

Typically 3–4 days: theory (eLearning), confined/shallow-water sessions and 4 open-water dives. Compressed or weekend-spread schedules are available.

I'm not a strong swimmer — can I take a PADI course?

Open Water requires a continuous 200 m swim and a 10-minute float. If your swim skills are limited we can route you through our swim program first.

Is my PADI certification valid worldwide?

Yes. PADI certifications are internationally recognized at 6,500+ PADI centers around the world.

Do you offer PADI training for adaptive divers?

Yes. We deliver PADI Adaptive Support Diver alongside IAHD adaptive programs, with training tailored to the diver's specific needs.
